A 32-year-old bicyclist was injured in an accident with a shuttle bus when the bus failed to yield to the bicycle rider, and instead ran over the victim. The bicyclist’s pelvis was fractured in several places as a result of being run over by the bus.
Monday morning started off with a tragic automobile accident, as a man was killed and two others injured during in a solo crash off of highway 101 that occurred shortly before 5 AM. The SUV was carrying 8 family members, who were returning to their home in San Jose after a trip to Mexico.
The vehicle was reportedly speeding and hit the raised curb as it came off of an onramp. At least two people were ejected from the vehicle as it rolled, one of whom was pronounced dead, the other was rushed to the hospital with major injuries.

Surveillance video from a Tenderloin district convenience store offered a clear picture of a pedestrian accident earlier this week, when a para-transit van ran over a man in the crosswalk. The pedestrian is alive and recovering in the hospital. He has some broken bones but is expected to survive.

Last October, the woman was driving her daughter to school on Highway 101 when she saw a truck crash happening in her rear view mirror. Next, she saw the driver get out of the truck and fall down, passing out before he could make it a safe distance from the crash. The woman saw a fuel fire starting near the man and ran over to him, dragging him to safety until emergency responders arrived and administered medical treatment. The driver sustained only minor injuries.

A Monday evening accident in Berkeley has claimed the life of an 18-year-old skateboarder. Police say the young man was riding his skateboard in the street shortly after 7:00 p.m., when he was struck by a Prius on Marin Avenue. The Berkeley resident reportedly attended school in El Cerrito, a community that has been shaken by two fatal accidents in just three days.
San Francisco police say that a woman suffered head trauma in a bicycle accident in the Richmond district Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say a mail truck was traveling north on 18th Avenue shortly before 5:00 p.m. and apparently rolled into the intersection and striking the cyclist, who was heading east on Clement Street. The 39-year-old woman riding the bicycle was not wearing a helmet and police say that she sustained a head injury.
