A 28-year-old man who was the passenger in A GMC S-10 pickup involved in an allegedly alcohol related roll-over accident near Disneyland died on Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police say a 28-year-old woman was driving the pickup at the time of the California car accident. The woman reportedly was speeding on the Santa Ana Freeway just before the crash.
A bicycle accident disturbed the morning commute in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this morning. Police say a woman was struck by a truck this morning at the corner of Mission and Fremont Streets in San Francisco. Police believe, based upon preliminary information, the woman may have made an illegal left turn just before the San Francisco bike accident. San Francisco Police Lieutenant Troy Dangerfield says the woman was hit by a food distribution truck shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

At 8:33 this morning a woman in her 40’s was struck by a bicyclist, as she was crossing the street, reportedly sustaining serious head injuries from the collision.
The Governors Highway Safety Association says California leads the nation in the number of people killed in pedestrian accidents. Pedestrians can be extremely vulnerable against the size and weight of a moving vehicle.
