Woman killed in Big Bear motorcycle accident

Motorcyclists can wear protective gear and still suffer catastrophic and even fatal injuries when an accident occurs. The California Highway Patrol says a 65-year-old woman from Hesperia was broadsided in a motorcycle accident on Highway 18 last week. The woman was traveling westbound on the highway, riding a 1997 Harley Davidson Dyna FXD.
