Last night firm founder Chris Dolan took the helm of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (SFTLA) as its President for 2016. In this photo, he is the gavel of office from Doris Cheng, the 2015 SFTA President. San Francisco Superior Court Judge Donald J. Sullivan swore Mr. Dolan into office.
Founded by famed trial lawyer Melvin Belli in 1950, the SFTLA is the oldest trial lawyers association in the nation. The mission of the SFTLA is to promote civil justice through education and trial advocacy and to safeguard access to justice for all members of society.
Mr. Dolan has been repeatedly recognized by multiple legal publications as one of top trial lawyers in California. A leader among trial attorneys, he has previously served as President of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the statewide trial lawyers association.
