12 Pedestrians Have Been Killed in San Jose Traffic-Related Accidents This Year
San Jose, CA (September 20, 2016) – A pedestrian was killed in San Jose in a hit-and-run crash at cross streets of King Road and Tully Road on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at around midnight. Officers responded to the scene at 12:22 a.m. and located the man who was killed and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The fatality constitutes the 31st person to be killed in a San Jose traffic-related incident this year, the Mercury News reports. Specifically, it is the 12th pedestrian in San Jose to be killed this year.
There is no information regarding the suspected driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. However, Sgt. Enrique Garcia reported that a white SUV may be involved in the crash.
