Last night Thursday (June 22, 2017) the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC) hosted their 37th Annual Installation Dinner.
The Dolan Law Firm is a proud sponsor of FBANC, one of the most well-established Filipino-American bar associations in the country, and serves over 400 Filipino-American attorneys and law students in the Bay Area from a wide range of legal backgrounds.
The Filipino Bar Association of Northern California is an organization of legal professionals committed to helping the Filipino community. Their dedicated members volunteer their time offering services such as free legal clinics, and professional development programs for others in the legal field. FBANC also advocates for Filipino-American interests in various forums.
The organization was created more than 30 years ago to promote Filipino-Americans interested in or entering into the legal field. With a small portion of Filipino-Americans in the legal profession, FBANC has built a foundation to help connect law students with practicing attorneys, to provide guidance and mentorship.
In addition to providing services to others, FBANC also presents scholarships to qualified law student members who show commitment to the issues involving the Filipino-American community. Last night, FBANC awarded over $22,000 in scholarships.
The firm also recognizes and congratulates two of their own attorneys, Isabelle Tan (Community Outreach Director) and Mari Bandoma Collado (Treasurer) for being inducted onto the board of directors.
Fairness and justice are what motivates the attorneys at the Dolan Law Firm. Our attorneys regularly volunteer their time and give financial support to many charities, important legislative efforts, and fun events around the San Francisco Bay area.
