May is national Bike Month and Thursday May 12th is Bike to Work Day (BTWD) in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Dolan Law FIrm is proud to sponsor BTWD across the Bay Area. The annual event is celebrated by thousands of people choosing to leave their cars at home and participate in a healthier alternative to get to work, school and other activities.
On BTWD energizer stations will be set up throughout the Bay Area supporting morning riders with free goodies and safety tips on bicycling in urban areas.
San Francisco Bicycle Coalition member-volunteers will help out in the morning at energizer stations located throughout the city. Each energizer station is providing free snacks and beverages, as well as convenient reusable tote bags for future commutes filled with goodies including reflective bike pant leg bands donated by the Dolan Law Firm.
In Alameda and Contra Costa County, Bike Eastbay will have over 130 energizer stations located in Oakland, surrounding cities, and many BART stations. Bike Eastbay is also hosting eight bike happy hour parties in the evening for bicyclists to celebrate after their commute.
The Marin County Bike Coalition is organizing 20 energizer super stations. Staff and volunteers will be handing out morning refreshments and tips on bike safety from 6:30 to 9:00 am.
The Dolan Law Firm has sponsored local bike groups for many years as well as the California Bike Coalition, which advocates for the rights of bicyclists throughout the state. For 2016, we are sponsoring BTWD celebrations hosted by the San Francisco Bike Coalition, Bike Eastbay, and the Marin County Bike Coalition.
Join us on the morning of Thursday, May 12th in Marin County at the energizer station located at the south end of the Larkspur Ferry Connection pathway bridge. We will be giving out reflective safety leg bands, t-shirts, and other fun goodies.
