Two San Jose women were killed in a hit-and-run car accident early yesterday morning. KCBS-TV reports that the women were in a Toyota Yaris which was turning at an intersection near the Mineta San Jose International Airport when it was hit by a Mercedes Sedan shortly after 3 a.m.

A 37-year-old San Francisco cyclist was sentenced to three years of probation and 1,000 hours of community service for fatally striking an elderly pedestrian.
A high speed car accident has left two San Jose teens dead. CBS News reports that the accident happened Saturday night shortly before midnight on Chynoweth Avenue and Derek Drive.
