A Senior Managing Litigation Attorney and team leader at Dolan Law Firm, Jeremy M. Jessup represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic losses in personal injury cases and families of loved ones who died in wrongful death lawsuits. Prior to joining The Dolan Law Firm, Jeremy spent 15 years representing defendants in high exposure/catastrophic loss personal injury litigation cases.
Mr. Jessup graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Social Science in 1997. He received his J.D. from University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 2000. Mr. Jessup has experience handling all aspects of civil litigation, including trials, in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, and contract disputes. He has been a member of the California State Bar Association since 2000. He is also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Central District of California, Northern District of California and Eastern District of California, Oregon, Washington and U.S. District Court Western District of Washington.
Mr. Jessup has been nominated as a finalist for CAOC’s Trial Attorney of the Year Award based on his work with Mr. Dolan on a civil rights case in the state of Washington.
Consistently voted a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star and Super Lawyer, Mr. Jessup has significant civil litigation and trial experience and has successfully represented hundreds of clients, assisting them in recovering nearly $150 million in verdicts and settlements.
Mr. Jessup has successfully tried cases to jury verdicts in Sacramento, Placer, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Kings and Merced counties. In addition, he has tried a civil rights case in the U.S. District Court Western District of Washington and in the state of Oregon. He has appeared and argued before California’s First and Fifth Appellate District. This has resulted in the published opinions of Ghezavat v. Harris (2019) 40 Cal.App.5th 555 and McGovern v. BHC Fremont Hospital, Inc., (2022) 87 Cal.App.5th 181, both coming out of the First Appellate District.
